Key Worker status of fire safety personnel
In unprecedented times, we are grateful for clarification on the status of fire safety and security engineers.
While the safety of our employees and that of our customers remain the overriding priority, the service we provide in servicing and maintaining life safety systems cannot be understated.
In line with all available advise, including the clarification below, we are continuing to provide for our customers albeit with all necessary precautions taken, and with non urgent or critical works being deferred.
From today, but for a skeleton staff, our office team are based from and working at home.
To help open more channels of communication with them, as well as our telephone lines 01472 500836, we have opened up our Skype channel “TeamAbatis” to provide additional support 24 hours a day.
During office hours, you can also contact us on WhatsApp on 07808 928664, and outside of hours by calling our duty engineers on the same number initially, and they will then call you back via WhatsApp if necessary.
Both Skype and WhatsApp give us video options to help you without needing to come to your premises. Of course if the issue needs attendance, we will do so provided no one in the premises is self isolating or displaying symptoms.
As Government and NHS advice is changing almost daily, we will update this as and when required.
In the meantime, we want to thank our customers for your support during this very difficult time. Such support, reciprocated, is critical for the well being of us all in the long term.
